Apple promised that the Amazon Prime Video app was coming to the Apple TV earlier in the year. It has now been released and it will work with the third generation Apple TV, the fourth generation Apple TV and of course the latest 4K Ultra HD 5tgh generation model.
The Amazon Prime Video App has been available on the iPhone and iPad for some time and it is now available on the Apple TV. There is also an updated version of the Prime Video app for the iPhone and iPad.

- Watch on your Apple TV directly by downloading the separate tvOS app (requires Apple TV 3rd generation or later).
- Universal Search now supported – search for Prime videos using iOS search (US, CA, AU, NO, & SE only).
- iPhone X support.
