Rumours regards the new Kindle Fire are reaching boiling point ahead of the highly anticipated announcement by Amazon that is expected to introduce a new Kindle Fire 2 tablet to their range.
Now undisclosed sources close to the Kindle Fire 2 have revealed that Amazon has decided not to use Google Maps technology, but has opted to use Nokia Maps instead for their latest Kindle tablet.
Its still unknown at the moment whether Amazon has included a GPS chip within their latest tablet, or is the Nokia mapping technology will work via wireless based location services.
Either way we shouldn’t have long to wait for Amazon to make an announcement which is expected later this week, and as always we will keep you updated as more information comes to light.
