After previously being confirmed during April 2018 the new Acer Chromebox CXI3 mini PC is now available to purchase online priced from $726 from the likes of Newegg. The flagship Acer CXI3 Chromebox is equipped with a Intel Core i7 Processor Model i7-8550U Processor Speed 1.80 GHz supported by 16GB DDR4 SDRAM and Intel Graphics Controller Model UHD Graphics 620.
Four optionsWill eventually be made available in the form of the CXI3-4GKM, CXI3-I38GKM, CXI3-I58GKM and CXI3-I716GKM all of which can be fitted with m.2 solid state drives and include 2 DDR4 SODIMM slots allowing up to 16GB of RAM to be installed. The Acer CXI3-I38GKM will be equipped with a Intel Core i3-7130U dual-core Kaby Lake processor supported by 8GB RAM and fitted with 64GB SSD priced at $440 – $470. While the Acer CXI3-I58GKM comes equipped with an Intel Core i5-8250U quad-core Kaby Lake Refresh processor supported by 8GB RAM and fitted with 64GB SSD priced at $495 – $510.
