The Alcatel Idol X+ was launched in China last month, and now the company is showing off this new 8 core Android smartphone at CES.
Alcatel have announced that the Alcatel Idol X+ will launch in Europe in February, and the device comes with some impressive specifications.
The handset features a 2GHz 8 core MediaTek MT6592 processor, there is also a 5 inch full high definition IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Other specifications on the Alcatel Idol X+ include 16GB of built in storage, plus a microSD card slot which can take up to 32GB cards.
The handset is equipped with front and rear facing cameras, up front we have a 2 megapixel camera, on the back we have a 13 megapixel camera.
The Alcatel Idol X+ will come with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and it is expected to retail for around $300 without a contract when it launches in Europe next month.
