Dodge is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona that was built in a very limited run of 501 cars to compete in NASCAR. To celebrate, Dodge has announced the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody Daytona 50th Anniversary Edition. The car will be produced in a limited run of 501 units to match the 1969 production number.
The car gets a bump in power to 717hp, a scant 10hp more than a stock Hellcat. The car gets a special Daytona decklid with side graphics that match. It will come in B5 blue, exclusive to that model, Pitch Black, Triple Nickel, and White Knuckle.
The car is set to hit showrooms in early 2020. Dodge is mum on pricing right now for the special edition. It can be seen at the Woodward Dream Cruise this weekend.
