We have been hearing rumors for a while that RIM with launch a 4G version of their BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, and now RIM’s CEO Thorsten Heins has confirmed that the company has a 4G PlayBook Tablet on the way.
The device is expected to feature similar specifications to existing BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, which includes a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a TI OMAP dual core 1GHz processor.
Other specifications on the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet include 1GB of RAM and up to 64GB of storage, we dont as yet have any information on when RIM are expected to release a 4G version of their tablet or how much it will retail for.
