Hyundai has announced a new SUV that is an entry-level offering that has a budget price and includes standard safety equipment that you might not expect for the money. The Venue can be had in base SE form with a 6-speed manual transmission for $17,250.
Stepping up to the 6-speed Smartstream IVT automatic raises the price to $18,450. The SEL is $19,150, SEL with convenience package is $20,300, ad the SEL with Convenience and Premium is $22,050. A special Denim edition sells for $21,950.
None of the MSRPs include the $1,095 destination charge. Standard features include a 3.5-inch TFT Instrument cluster display, rearview monitor, 8-inch AM/FM/HD Radio Audio System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with four speakers, first row USB charge port, 12V outlet, Bluetooth hands-free phone, steering wheel audio controls, cruise control, automatic headlights, air conditioning, remote keyless entry and an exterior temperature display. Venue also includes Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of standard safety features including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management (VSM) with Traction Control as well as front, side and head curtain airbags each as standard equipment.
