The LED-Powered Dining Table You Always Wanted
If you’re like me and you’ve wondered why your table doesn’t have embedded lights on it, then you’re in luck. Intrepid designer Dennis Vetu has just what you need.

Embedded with 1,700 LEDs, it is said to be “a metaphor for the circle of life itself.” It certainly looks like it with the tree-shaped design of the lights. These Arbonata Light Tables come in two colors, Black (more of a mahogany though) and Bamboo.
It’s currently being made by company nKcharms and they supposedly can do away with the tree-hugging design and go with anything the customer wants. For an environmentally-conscious company though, wouldn’t a table that produces light be less eco-friendly, creating a carbon footprint and all that. Also to note: the company images are all renders so we’re not quite sure if there even is a prototype of this thing.
For me, I’d probably just swap out the LEDs with lasers and annoy the heck out of the cat.
