Last week we heard that Samsung’s Android powered Samsung Galaxy Camera had gone up for pre-order in the UK, and not it would appear that the device is getting ready to launch in the US as it has turned up at the FCC.
According to Android Authority, the device, which comes with a data connection but not a cellular connection for making calls, has appeared at the FCC with the 850MHz and 1900MHz bands, which means it would be compatible with US mobile carrier AT&T.
As a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy Camera will come with the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it features a a quad core 1.4GHZ processor.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Camera include a 4.8 inch touchscreen display, a 16 megapixel camera sensor with 21x optical zoom and 8GB of built in storage, plus HDMI and microUSB.
