Something very interesting has been found in the Palm Pre webOS, some developers have discovered a pre-alpha virtual keyboard that will be available to be used with the majority of the Palm Pre’s apps.

The keyboard looks like it can be used in either portrait or landscape mod, and there is a downloadable patch available if you want to check it out.

This is great news for Palm Pre owners, this is definitely one feature that the Pre has been missing, and it will make the Pre more appealing to people who like using a virtual keyboard as well as a physical one.

There is no word when this will go live in the webOS, we will let you know when we find out more details.
