O2 UK Lose iPhone Exculsivity – iPhone Coming To Orange
UK mobile phone operator Orange and Apple [AAPL] have signed a deal, which sees O2 lose exclusivity to sell the iPhone in the UK, and Orange will be selling the iPhone 3G and 3GS in the UK before Christmas.
This is great new for UK iPhone users, many who have been unhappy, myself included with O2′s customer services, and overpriced Phone plans, and now we will see some competition in the market.

Orange have the largest 3G network in the UK, and I am sure they will be able to provide better data coverage for iPhone users as many have complained about the quality and consistency of O2′s data coverage in the UK.
Orange haven’t confirmed any details on price plans or the exact date of the iPhone 3G & iPhone 3GS in the UK on their network, the only details they have released is that it will be later this year.
