Nokia N900 Delayed In The UK
Nokia has had to delay the launch of its new Maemo powered handset, the Nokia N900, in the UK due to the huge demand for the mobile phone, and the amount of pre-orders Nokia has received.
The Nokia N900 was due to go on sale in the UK this week, but now it looks like it won’t be available until the 4th of December, this is mainly to to the fact that the demand for the handset has far outstripped Nokia’s supplies.

The Nokia N900 which is powered by Nokia’s new Maemo 5 OS, and features a 3.5 inch WVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 800 x 480.
The Nokia N900 measures 110.9 x 59.8 x 18mm and weighs 181g, it features a sliding Qwerty keyboard and is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 processor.
Nokia have said that the N900 will be available in the UK from the 4th of December, and Nokia will be giving priority to customers who have pre-ordered the handset.
It will be available from Nokia’s online store as well as a range of Nokia stores in the UK for £499 without a contract.

Does anyone know if there is a compatible version of the ereader software (www.ereader.com) for the N900? This reader is currently available for most (if not all) Symbian environments, as well as the iPhone (and iPod Touch)
