Nikon has today announced the launch of their new Nikon Coolpix P7800 Camera which is fitted with a large 12.2-megapixel CMOS sensor.
The Nikon Coolpix P7800 also offers a fast maximum aperture f/2.0 lens and new electronic viewfinder and is capable of capturing both HD photos and video even in low light conditions.
A versatile 7.1x zoom range 28-200mm equivalent lens allows you to creative with your shots and the lens-shift Vibration Reduction (VR) feature helps users take consistently steady and clear shots while shooting from the hand.

On the rear of the Nikon Coolpix P7800 is a 3-inch Vari-Angle LCD screen and new high-resolution eye-level electronic viewfinder (EVF). There is also available an optional WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter that allows you to easily share your photos as you take them with compatible tablets or smartphones.

The Nikon Coolpix P7800 camera will be available later this month for a suggested retail price $550. Bo Kajiwara, Vice President of Marketing, Planning and Customer Experience, Nikon Inc. explains in todays press release
