If you find yourself fumbling around in the dark trying to connect your iPhone charger cable, to your smartphone. You might be interested in a new charging cable called CordLite which has been designed by Scrap Pile Labs, and incorporates an illuminated connection making it easy to connect it to your iPhone in low light conditions.
The CordLite is like any standard USB 30-pin dock connector cable, allowing you to sync and charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod. However whenever you touch sensitive aluminium surround around the 30-pin connector. The connector illuminates allowing you to see the connector and port even in the dark. Letting go of the connector will then automatically turn off the illumination.
“CordLite is made of rigid plastic for the body, and bead blasted aluminum for the touch plates. The cable is a standard USB cable and will charge and sync your iPhone/iPad/iPod just like the cable that came with it.”
The CordLite is currently over on the Kickstarter website looking to raise enough pledges to make the jump from concept to production. So if you think it is something you could benefit from, jump over to the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge and help CordLite become a reality.
