Apple Launches 27 Inch LED Cinema Display
Apple has added a new 27 inch LED Display to its range, previously the largest one available was a 24 inch model, and according to Apple the 27 inch LED cinema display features around 60 percent more pixels with a resolution of 2,560 by 1140 pixels.
The LED Cinema Display looks great from any seat in the house, thanks to a premium display technology called in-plane switching (IPS). IPS gives you a bright picture with excellent color consistency — even if you’re viewing the display from the side.
The new 27 inch LED Cinema display features a built in iSight camera and microphone, plus an ambient light sensor, and it also features three USB ports.
The 27 inch LED Cinema display will retail for $999, when it goes one sale.
