Microsoft-Windows-10

Microsoft has published the latest Windows Lifecycle Fact Sheet that reveals their latest Windows 10 operating system that launched back at the end of July 2015 will be supported until October 14th 2025.

The document also reveals that support for Microsoft’s older yet still very capable Windows 7 operating system will end on January 14th 2020 and Windows 8.1 support will end on January 10th 2023.

Microsoft explains a little more about what is exactly meant by “End of Support” :

End of support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance. This is the time to make sure you have the latest available update or service pack installed. Without Microsoft support, you will no longer receive security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can steal your personal information.
