Android users that have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the new WhatsApp voice calling feature on their mobile devices since it started rolling out to some users last month.
Will be pleased to know that a new version of the WhatsApp for Android application is now available to download from the Google Play Store and takes the form of WhatsApp version 2.12.5 and comes complete with the new voice call service.
No longer do users need to wait for the rollout of the WhatsApp voice call feature, which can be added instantly by downloading and updating to the latest 2.12.5 version. That also includes a newly redesigned interface providing three easy to access tabs for your contacts, chats and calls.
iOS mobile users that are also patiently waiting for the arrival of the new voice calling feature from WhatsApp, will be pleased to know that the service is expected to roll out the new iOS application in the coming weeks, WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton confirmed at Facebook’s recent F8 conference.
“WhatsApp Messenger is a smartphone messenger available for Android and other smartphones. WhatsApp uses your 3G or WiFi (when available) to message with friends and family.
