Verizon Wireless will be unveiling its new Droid smartphones at a press event on the 27th of October, this will include the new Droid Turbo 2 and the Droid Maxx 2.
We have already heard a number of specifications on both handsets and now we have some more information on the devices.
According to a recent report, the new Verizon Droid Turbo 2 will feature a shatterproof display and this will apparently be used as a major selling point for the handset.
Verizon will apparently be offering a promotion on the new Droid Turbo 2, where you will be able to trade in a smartphone, even one with a cracked display, for this new handset and will give you up to $300 for your old device. The handset will also apparently be made available with Moto Maker customization options.
The new Droid Maxx 2 will come with a battery which will last for up to 48 hours and this handset will also offer Moto Maker customization’s. Verizon will apparently offer a trade in program against this handset and will give you up to $300 for your old device.
