Western Digital has announced the availability of its new WD BLACK P50 Game Drive USB SSD with prices starting from $150 for the 500 GB SSD, rising to $240 for the 1 TB and maxing out at $400 for the 2 TB version. The WD BLACK P50 Game Drive SSD has been created to provide users with the “perfect balance of speed and performance” says Western Digital.
Offering a drive that is supported by Windows 8.1, 10, macOS 10.11+, PlayStation 4 Pro or PS4 with system software version 4.50 or higher and Microsoft’s Xbox One games console. The small USB SSD measures 4.65″ x 2.44″ x 0.55″ (L x W x H) in size and offers a connection supporting USB 3.2 connectivity and offering read speeds up to 2000MB/s.
