Xiaomi has launched an update version of their Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in China. The update handset gets a number of upgrades over the original device.
The handset comes with a 5.99 inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and it come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.
You can choose from 3GB, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and the device comes with a choice of 32gB or 64GB of storage. On the back of the handset there is now a 12 megapixel camera with a f/1.9 lens, the previous model had an f/2.2 lens. The second camera is the same 5 megapixel camera.
The device comes with a 13 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and the cameras on the new model are now AI driven. The handset also comes with a USB-C connector and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.
The updated Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro now comes with Android 8.0 Oreo in China, it will come with a choice of colors which include black, blue, rose gold and gold and prices start at around $173.
