Rocketbook launched a very unique cloud connected sketchpad and notebook called the Wave, which allows you to take notes or make sketches using a pen and the special paper within the notebook.
Once the notebook is full you simply pop it in your microwave with a cup of water and all the pages will be automatically cleaned. Watch the video below to learn more about this very unique functionality and a great way to save paper and trees.
Once you have your notes in place simply use the companion application to photograph the pages from the notebook and send them to your favourite cloud-based storage with ease.
The Rocketbook Wave provides the freedom of a traditional pen and paper notebook, while instantly blasting your notes into the cloud using your smartphone. When you use Pilot Frixion pens with the Wave notebook, you can erase your notes using your microwave oven and reuse your notebook.
The Rocketbook System is the combination of a special notebook and a free mobile app. Write notes and create designs in your notebook with a pen. Then, using patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app accurately and quickly captures and sends your notes to pre-configured cloud services.
The seven symbols at the bottom of each page are the magic “buttons” behind the Rocketbook’s quick and easy cloud organization. You assign each icon to the destination of your choice, any folder inside Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs, OneNote or your email address. When you mark that icon on your page, the Rocketbook app automatically files your notes in the right place.
The Rocketbook Wave notebook project is currently over on the Kickstarter crowd funding website and has already raised enough pledges to go into production. So if you think the Wave notebook is something your note taking and sketching could benefit from, visit the Kickstarter website now to make a pledge from just $20 and help Rocketbook Wave notebook become a reality.
