TomTom has been letting users customize the way their GPS devices operate for a long time now with things like voice packs and custom icons for navigation. TomTom has those awesome Star Wars voice packs that are some of the coolest around. Today the company has announced another way to customize a GPS device to suit your tastes.
The new program is called My Custom TomTom GPS. The buyer can choose from a library of stock images that can be printed onto the outside of the GPS device. The coolest customization though is the ability to upload your own photos to be printed onto the GPS device.
That means rather than just getting a stock image or color on the device, you can actually have pics of your kids, family, friends, pets, or whatever else you can think of on the case of the GPS device. TomTom also allows the user to upload digital content like voices and POI databases to go with their design. The custom printing of the devices are done via CafePress but the GPS devices can only be ordered directly from TomTom.
