Mobvoi has launched a new Kickstarter campaign this month and has already raised over $680,000 thanks to over 4500 backers with still 36 days remaining on their campaign.
The Ticwatch Smartwatch is still in its prototype stages of development and can be seen in the promotional video below which seems to use renderings of what the final smartwatch will look like rather than a final piece of hardware.
The Mobvoi team explains more about the design and feature on the Ticwatch:
Besides managing calls and messages, Ticwatch S (Sport) and E (Express) empower your active lifestyle with the convenience of Google Assistant, fitness apps like Google Fit, and the powerful ecosystem of Google Play. Google Play brings you apps that enable sleep monitoring, music detection, multi-language support, and much more. The possibilities are endless with your Ticwatch S & E.
When you’re on the go, don’t let your phone slow you down. With Ticwatch S & E, you can control everything from your wrist so you don’t have to break a sweat. Your strokes of creative genius can come at any time and it’s not always easy to write them down. Ticwatch S & E make it super easy. Just say “OK Google, take a note,” and never lose those ideas again.
No matter what your preferred sports intensity is, Ticwatch S & E are tailored for your workout. You know that every movement, every step, every detail counts. Smart workout tracking enables you to keep on top of your results. The Tic Fit app, Google Fit, and other third party fitness apps such as Strava and Runkeeper all ensure that your progress is accurately measured.
