KLiK Robotics has launched a new self balancing robot kit which provides everything you need to program and play with the Arduino-based self balancing robot. Which can be controlled using the companion application and your Android smartphone or tablet or PC depending on your preference. Watch the demonstration video below to learn more about the self balancing T-Bots robots created by a development team based in Oxfordshire and the United Kingdom.
Building on their previous design the T-Bots robots have now been completely reengineered with a new design created using injection moulding and laser cutting all built around a specially designed motherboard making assembly “easy and satisfying” say it’s creators.
“Our T-Bots are designed to inspire and introduce the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, engineers and technologists to the world of robotics. One of the most exciting advances in robotics is dynamic stabilisation. This is fancy terminology for actively stabilising things that want to fall over.”
“Learn to code in Python, the top programming languages of 2018 (IEEE SPECTRUM), and arguably, the most important programming language in science. You will learn to extract and analyse data from the T-Bot across serial and Bluetooth. Develop your own machine learning software using Genetic algorithms. Again, it sounds fancy but you can do it!”
Components included in the box :
– T-Bot Motherboard
– Laser cut Acrylic Chassis
– T-Bot injection moulded wheels
– Open Source Arduino based Microcontroller
– MPU 6050 MEMS Module Tri-Axis Gyroscope, Tri-Axis Accelerometer
– HC-SR04 Ultrasound Module
– TB6612FNG Motor Driver Board
– HC-05 Bluetooth Module
– USB lead to upload code and transfer data
