Users that enjoy using the SwiftKey keyboard application that are also equipped with Android devices may be interested to know that SwiftKey has this week rolled out a new version of its custom keyboard application via the SwiftKey Greenhouse beta program.
The latest release includes a wealth of new features and functionality and provides users with an experimental and unfinished application in the form of the Clarity Keyboard Beta that can now correct multiple words at once.
SwiftKey warns and reminds you that the Clarity Keyboard Beta is an experimental keyboard offering a simple way to type, helping you to focus on what you’re writing and nothing else. It is compatible with Android 4.4 and above and only supports US English at the current time. Features of the new SwiftKey Clarity Keyboard Beta include :
– Multi-word autocorrect – checks the last few words you’ve typed and retrospectively corrects them.
– No more ‘damn-you-autocorrect’ – quickly undo any autocorrections and restore exactly what you typed by tapping backspace.
– Always learning – automatically learns your slang, nicknames and phrases.
Functions that are still not available within the development app include : A prediction bar, SwiftKey Flow, Emoji, Voice input and settings. But if you’d like to test the latest application it is now available to download from the Google Play store for free via the link below.
