Recently, Samsung started the rollout of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Galaxy Note 2 (both GT-N7100 and GT-N7105). Galaxy Note just skipped the Android 4.2.2 update and was directly updated to Android 4.3. Well, if you’re a Sprint Galaxy Note 2 user, you’d be glad to know that Android 4.3 update is rolling out for your handset.
The update is rolling out today, but do not fret if you didn’t receive the update yet. The update process is gradual, and it might take a few days for the OTA update notification to pop up on your home screen. The latest Android 4.3 update for Sprint will update the firmware to L900VPAMK4 and brings Galaxy Gear compatibility, HD Voice enhancements, Samsung KNOX and all the sweet features of the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
At the moment, there’s no news about any problems with the update as in the case of Samsung Galaxy S3, so it’s safe to say that you can update your device. Samsung did release the Android 4.3 update for Galaxy S3, which was later pulled by the Korean OEM because of many bugs and problems that accompanied the update. The manufacturer even issued a statement and mentioned another update will be rolled out for Galaxy S3 to fix the bugs. Unfortunately, they failed to give an exact date when S3 users can expect the update.
Anyway, if you didn’t receive the update, you can manually check it from your settings apps. If you already updated your Galaxy Note 2 to Android 4.3, please let us know if you can notice any improvement.
