The launch of Sony’s new flagship Android smartphone was a surprise this morning, the device was announced in Japan and now it looks like the handset may be for Japan only.
Sony normally announces their flagship devices worldwide at the same time, the the lack of any announcement on the handset for the US and Europe was slightly strange.
It would appear that the Sony Xperia Z4 will only be launched in Japan and Sony will be launching another new device as its flagship smartphone for the rest of the world.
The new Sony Xperia Z4 came with some upgrades over the Xperia Z3, although the display and its resolution was the same as it predecessor, the handset got a new processor and some other new hardware.
We wonder if Sony will announced the international version of the Sony Xperia Z4 with higher specifications, it would be good to see the handset launch with a Quad HD display, rather than a full HD display, as soon as we get some more information, we will let you guys know.
