
Sony has announced that they will be launching their Sony Xperia Z3 smartphone in Canada on the 31st of October, the handset will be available with a range of carriers in the country.
The Sony Xperia Z3 will be available through mobile carriers Bell, MTS, Rogers, SaskTel, TELUS, WIND Mobile, and also from Sony retail stores from the 31st of October in Canada.
“Consumers demand and deserve greatness from their smartphone – in design, camera and battery life,” said Tim Hernquist, Vice President Marketing for North America, Sony Mobile Communications. “That’s precisely what we deliver with Xperia Z3, delivering leading innovations such as PS4 Remote Play in a beautifully designed, fully waterproof smartphone.”
As a reminder, the Sony Xperia Z3 comes with a 5.2 inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, the device is powered by a quad core 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.
Other specifications on the Sony Xperia Z3 include 3GB of RAM, plus a 2.2 megapixel front facing camera for video chat, and a 20.7 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera on the back of the handset.
The device comes with a microSD card slot that supports 128GB cards and it also comes with Android 4.4 KitKat, the device is designed to be both dust and waterproof and comes with a IP67 and IP68 rating.
