Sony has announced that they will be launching their Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium smartphone in Japan in August, the handset is launching with mobile carrier KDDI.
The handset was made official last month and it comes with a 5.8 inch display with a 4K resolution of 2840 x 2160 pixels.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile processor and 6GB of RAM, there is also 64GB of included storage and the device has a microSD card slot which takes up to 400GB cards.
The new Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is equipped with high end cameras on the front and back. These include a 13 megapixel front facing camera for Selfies and video calls. On the back of the device there is a dual camera setup which is made up of one 19 megapixel Motion Eye camera and one black and white 12 megapixel camera.
The device also comes with a 3450 mAh battery that features Qualcomm Quick charge and it will come with Android Oreo.
