Sony has announced that it will be shutting down its US Sony Online Store from the 28th of August 2015.
The company has announced that the store will stop taking new orders from 1om on the 28th of August.
Sony will still offers its range of devices in the US, they will just not be selling them direct to customers, instead they will be sold through the company’s authorized retailers.
Sony previously shut down its physical retail stores in the US and now the company is doing the same with its online stores.
Anyone who has purchased a device from their Sony Online Store in the past will continue to have their existing warranty and all back orders will be fulfilled. If you have a gift card for their store then this will need to be redeemed before the 289th of August, after that date they can be used for digital content and games.
