If you are looking for a rugged smartphone then the new Sonim XP8 is now available with AT&T in the US. The handset comes with a 5 inch display that features a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 mobile processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. If you need some extra storage it is equipped with a microSD card slot for expansion.
The Sonim XP8 comes with front and rear cameras, on the front of the handset there is an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies and on the back of the device there is a 12 megapixel camera for photos and videos.
The handset comes with Android 70 Nougat and it features a 4,900 mAh battery. The device is apparently designed to be used by public safety workers and first responders and it comes with an IP68/69 rating and a MIL-STD-810 Rating.
