Italian 3D printer manufacturer Sharebot has this week announced the launch of its new Kiwi 3D Printer and 3D Printer Kit which are now available to purchase for €696 and €570 respectively.
The Sharebot Kiwi3D is a 3D printer design has been built using the technology from the larger Sharebot NG printer, but providing a smaller print area and external dimensions to the range of Sharebot 3D printers.
Sharebot has designed the new Kiwi 3D Printer to specifically provide users with a desktop alternative to its larger machine and offer a low enter price point. Offering a 100 x 140 x 100 mm build volume all enclosed in a unit that measures just 310 x 330 x 350 mm.
The Kiwi 3D Printer is capable of printing with a minimum layer thickness of 0.1mm and has been designed to accept 1.75mm filament, with the added benefits of an adjustable build plate and the ability for users to print directly from an SD card when required. Sharebot explains :
