Samsung has seen sales of its smartphones decline in recent months, although this may change with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge next month.
Now according to a recent report, Samsung is considering withdrawing its smartphones from Japan, of course this has yet to be confirmed by Samsung.
Sales of Samsung’s smartphones have apparently not been that high in Japan over the last few years, and the company is rumored to be losing money in Japan.
Samsung are now apparently considering withdrawing from the Japanese smartphone market altogether.
We wonder if Samsung are planning to see how the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge units perform in Japan, and then making their decision based on sales of these handsets.
As soon as we get some more details on exactly what Samsung has planned for Japan, we will let you guys know.
