Samsung has set themselves an ambitious target for next year, as the company is looking to ship around 40 million smartphones in 2011, and they are looking to build on the success of popular handsets like the Android based Samsung Galaxy S.
Samsung also has a target of 20 million smartphones by the end of 2010, so they are looking to double this next year, and with a new range of Windows Phone 7 handsets and Android devices being launched they should be able to hit their target.
There is also a rumor that Samsung are looking to expand their Galaxy Tab tablet range with a 10 inch model next year, which could also help increase the success for their Galaxy range of smartphones and tablets.
