Some owners of the new Samsung Galaxy S9 have reported having some issues with the touchscreen on the handsets. Some owners of the handsets have reported dead zones on the display where nothing happens when these areas are touched on the display.
The issue appear to be affecting both the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus handsets, although it is not clear as yet on how widespread the problem is. Not all users are reporting these problems with their handsets displays.
Samsung has now connfirmed that they are looking into the problem and you can see an official statement from the company below.
At Samsung, customer satisfaction is core to our business and we aim to deliver the best possible experience. We are looking into a limited number of reports of Galaxy S9/S9+ touchscreen responsiveness issues. We are working with affected customers and investigating.
