Not too long ago, Samsung updated its tablet line up and introduced several new tablets ranging from 12.2 Galaxy NotePro to 8.4-inch display in the Galaxy TabPro.
Launching a whole lot of new tablets doesn’t mean Samsung is not working on any new smartphones. We’ve heard quite a lot about lite versions of various Samsung handsets, including the and Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Recently, a mysterious handset was spotted on a logistics tracking website Zauba, carrying a screen size of 5.5-inch with a model number GT-I9405.
The new handset, GT-I9405, made its way to India with a 5.5-inch screen size from Samsung for research and development purposes, and comes with a 32,746INR price tag. Based on the given information, there’s a possibility that it’s the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which we’ve seen several times in the past.
Based on rumors, it will rock a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution, a dual-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.7GHz, plus a 1.3GHz quad-core ‘Hexa’ processor and 2GB of RAM. Other features include 16GB storage with a microSD card slot, 8MP camera for photos and videos, as well as a 1.9MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 3,100 mAh battery, S Pen features, Galaxy Gear compatibility and runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box.
There’s no word about the launch of the device, but based on the pace at which leaks are appearing, we’re guessing the official launch is not too far. What do you think?
