Samsung recently announced the end of its Android Oreo beta program for its Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones. This suggested that the Android Oreo update is coming to these two handsets some time soon.
Samsung has now announced that members of its Android Oreo beta testing program members will get the update a day before everyone else. The update will bring a range of new features to the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.
The company has not given a specific release date as yet for the Android Oreo update for the Galaxy S9 and S8 Plus, although we suspect it will not be very long before it is released.
