Samsung recently released the Android Oreo update for their Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones. The update had to be paused after some people had some problems with it.
Unfortunately some Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones were rebooting randomly after the update, this was the reason why Samsung paused it.
Samsung has now resumed the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus Android Oreo update and it has once again started to roll out to the two handsets.
The update has been released as an over the air update for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus and it should be available for your device as of now. You can check to see if it is available for your handset from the settings menu.
The update is around 530MB in size for people who already updated their devices to Android 8.0 Oreo before the update was paused. The download is larger than that for people who did not previously update.
