We previously heard some rumors that Samsung were going to launch a new leasing program for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge similar to Apple’s iPhone leasing program.
According to a recent report, the Samsung leasing program will be launching in Samsung’s stores in South Korea on the 11 of March.
Details of the Samsung Leasing Program
Samsung will offer their Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge on a 24-month lease, with the ability to upgrade your device to a new one at the end of 12 months and take out a new plan. The remaining 12 payments on the plan do not have to be paid. This innovative approach allows users to always have the latest technology without the burden of long-term financial commitments.
The leasing program is designed to provide flexibility and affordability, making it easier for consumers to access Samsung’s latest technology. This move is seen as a direct response to similar programs offered by competitors, aiming to retain customer loyalty and reduce the financial barrier to owning high-end smartphones.
Potential Global Expansion

However, given the success of similar programs in other markets, it would not be surprising to see Samsung expand this offering globally. As soon as we get some more details, we will let you guys know.
