We have been hearing rumors about two new handsets from Samsung that will launch shortly, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Samsung are expected to launch the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus some time in September and now we have some more details on the Edge Plus.
We previously heard that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus would come with a Samsung Exynos 7420 processor like the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, although according to a recent report, the device will feature a hexa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor.
Other rumored specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus include a 5.7 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the handset is also expected to come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built in storage.
Samsung will apparently use similar cameras in the new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as it uses in the other S6 handsets, the front facing camera will be a 5 megapixel version and the rear camera will be a 16 megapixel version which is capable of recording 4K video.
The device will also feature a 3000 mAh battery and will apparently come with Android Lollipop, plus an updated version of Samsung’s TouchWiz UI which is designed to fix RAM issues that have been present on the existing S6 handsets. The device is expected to launch in September along with the new Galaxy Note 5, as soon as we get some more details on the handset, we will let you guys know.
