Samsung’s new Galaxy S III smartphone has been an incredibly popular handset for Samsung and now according to a recent report by research firm Strategy Analaytics, the Galaxy S III is now more popular than Apple’s iPhone.
According to the report, Samsung sold a total of 18 million Galaxy S III smartphones in the third quarter of 2012, this compares to Apple, who sold a total of 16.2 million iPhones, these figures do not include the new iPhone 5.
We wonder who will be top in the fourth quarter of 2012, now that Apple has released the new iPhone 5, it will be interesting to see which of the two companies sells the most devices in the last quarter.
