Samsung has released a new software update for their Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone in the US.
The software update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with the May security patch for Google’s Android OS, the update also includes some security updates from Samsung as well.
The update fixes six vulnerabilities in Google’s Android OS and it also fixes seven vulnerabilities in Samsung’s own software. The update comes with the build number N950U1UES4CRE1.
The update is apparently being rolled out as an over the air update for the unlocked version of the device with various carriers. You can check to see if it is available for your handset from the settings menu.
