Samsung is apparently skipping the Note 6 name this year and launching their new phablet as the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and now we have some more details on the release date of the device.
Previous rumors have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 would be launching in August and according to Evan Blass, the handset will launch in the first week of August.

We have heard a number of rumors about the specifications on this years Galaxy Note 7, the handset is rumored to come with a 5.8 inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and processing will be provided by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, the handset is also expected to come with 6GB of RAM.
Storage options on the new Galaxy Note 7 are expected to start at 32GB and there is a possibility that there may be a 256GB model at the stop option. The handset will feature the same cameras as the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, this will include a 5 megapixel front camera for selfies and a 12 megapixel rear camera for photos and videos.
The new Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will come with Android Marshmallow, there will apparently be two verisons of the handset, a standard version with a flat display and a Galaxy Note 7 Edge with a curved display. We will have more details on Samsung’s new Note 7 closer to launch.
