Samsung has announced a new version of its Galaxy Ace Android smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2, and the device comes with a range of new features over the previous model.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 features a 3.8 inch WVGA multi-touch PLS TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and it will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Processing on the Galaxy Ace 2 is provided by a dual core 800MHz processor and it also comes with 768MB of RAM, plus 4GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 also features dual cameras with a VGA camera up front for video chat and a rear facing 5 megapixel camera for video and photos, the rear camera features auto-focus and a flash.
Other specifications on the Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 include Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, WiFi Direct, an accelerometer, a digital compass and optional NFC.
