It looks like we have some more specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6 Plus smartphones.
We previously heard some specifications on the handsets and now we have some more details. The handset will come with a 5.6 inch Infinity Display with a FHD+ resolution of 2,220 x 1080 pixels and it will feature a Samsung Exynos 7870 processor.
The device will also come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot for expansion. The handset will also come with Android Oreo.
Enhanced Features and Performance
The Samsung Galaxy A6 is designed to offer a balanced performance with its Exynos 7870 processor, which is built on a 14nm process. This ensures efficient power consumption and decent performance for everyday tasks. The 3GB of RAM should be sufficient for multitasking, allowing users to switch between apps smoothly. The 32GB of internal storage, while not the largest, provides ample space for apps, photos, and videos, and the microSD card slot allows for further expansion, accommodating up to 256GB cards.
The larger Galaxy A6 Plus will feature a 6 inch display with a FHD+ resolution of 2,220 x 1080 pixels and it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. This handset will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot.
Camera Capabilities and Additional Features
As yet there are no details on which cameras these two handsets will come with, the devices are expected to launch in the Middle East, Russia and Europe. However, based on previous models in the Galaxy A series, we can anticipate that both the Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus will feature capable camera setups. The Galaxy A6 might come with a single rear camera, while the A6 Plus could sport a dual-camera system, enhancing its photography capabilities with features like portrait mode and optical zoom.
Both devices are expected to include Samsung’s suite of software enhancements, such as Bixby, Samsung Pay, and a variety of security features including facial recognition and a fingerprint scanner. The inclusion of Android Oreo means users will benefit from features like Picture-in-Picture mode, notification dots, and improved battery life through background app management.
In terms of design, the Infinity Display on both models suggests minimal bezels, providing a more immersive viewing experience. The build quality is expected to be premium, with a metal and glass construction that is both stylish and durable.
