It hasn’t been too long since the Korean manufacturer unveiled its flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S4. Now, it seems as the rumor about the next Galaxy device – Samsung Galaxy S5 – have started emerging on the internet.
According to a new report from ETNews, a publication with many accurate predictions that originate from Korean shores, mentions that Samsung is planning a design change for the next Galaxy device – Galaxy S5. Samsung has received a lot of criticisms on its current flagship device when it comes to the cheap plastic design. There is no doubt that the device brings top of the line specifications but it’s the plastic design give the device a cheaper look when compared to flagship devices from other manufacturers like HTC. The report mentions that Samsung has created a prototype device with metallic design that is sent to Vietnam for mass production. Samsung also plans to conduct various test to make sure that the device with a metallic design is feasible to produce and there are no technical issues.
Recently, we also heard a rumor that mentioned the Korean giant working on a 16MP camera with optical image stabilization. The camera will come with the future Galaxy devices and it seems that the report was targeting more towards the next flagship device – Samsung Galaxy S5.
If you don’t know, Samsung has scheduled an unpacked event on September 4 where the company plans to unveil Samsung Galaxy Note 3 along with the Galaxy Gear smart watch.
