If you have been patiently waiting for the new Ricoh Theta 360 degree wireless camera to arrive in stores will be pleased to learn that today it has launched worldwide and is now available to purchase for around $400.
The new Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera has been designed to create 360 degree photographs and is capable of holding 1,200 photographs using it supplied internal 4GB of memory.
Ricoh has include a battery in the new Theta camera that is capable of providing enough juice to capture 200 photos on a single charge. The unique camera is equipped with two special half-spherical lenses and each sits in front of a 5 megapixel sensor.
The shutter release on the new camera can also be triggered wirelessly fired via a connection to your smartphone, which supports iPhone 4S or 5 or 4th or 5th generation iPod touch. Unfortunately Android devices are not supported at the current time but are being added to list before the end of the year, say Ricoh.
The new Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera is now available in the US, UK, France, and Germany from today and is priced at around $400.
