We have already seen some photos of the new iPad Mini 2, which is expected to come with a fingerprint sensor, plus Apple’s new A7 64-bit processor.
According to a recent report by Reuters, the new iPad Mini 2 with a Retina display has been delayed, as Apple’s supply chain is apparently only gearing up to make the Retina displays for the device.
What this may mean is that the new iPad Mini 2 which is expected to be launched later this month, may come with the same display that is found in the current iPad Mini, instead of the rumored Retina display.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the new iPad Mini 2 is announced later this month, the device is expected to be unveiled at an Apple press event on the 15th of October along with the new iPad 5.
