We featured the Reserve Strap for the Apple Watch when it was announced back in March and now the creators of the strap have released a new video showing the strap charging the device.
The Reserve Strap uses the 6 pin diagnostic port on the Apple Watch to charge the device, the video below shows the strap charging an Apple Watch next to one being charged by Apple’s standard charger.
As we can see from the video, the Reserve Strap is capable of charging the Apple Watch faster than Apple’s standard charger.
When the strap is launched it will feature a battery built in which is designed to provide extra power to your Apple Watch.
The design of the Reserve Strap incorporates 4 Lithium ion batteries arranged in parallel with minimum bulk and maximum charging capacity without compromising fit. Additionally, the Reserve Strap fully conforms to Apple’s 3rd party band guidelines.
The strap is available to pre-order now for $249.99 and it will come in three colors, white, black and grey, you can find out more details at the link below.
