The Raspberry Pi town foundation has announced that their latest addition to the Raspberry Pi range of mini PC hardware this the Raspberry Pi Zero W has now shipped more than 250,000 units and will soon be available from another 13 new distributors dotted around the globe.
To recap the Raspberry Pi Zero W has been designed to build on the previous Raspberry Pi Zero mini PC by offering wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1 and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) support.
To recap on the specifications for the Raspberry Pi Zero W system is equipped with a 1GHz, single-core processor which is supported by 512 MB of RAM. Other features include Mini HDMI and USB On-The-Go ports, Micro USB power, HAT-compatible 40-pin header, Composite video and reset headers and CSI camera connector.
